The short version
Agent Pi runs the AI agent on your own computer. Your conversations, files, and API keys stay on your machine — this website never sees them.
What the app & browser extension do with data
- Chats, files, and code are processed locally by the Agent Pi app on your computer. They are only sent to the AI provider you configure (e.g. OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic), directly from your machine, under that provider's privacy policy.
- API keys are stored locally on your device (optionally in an encrypted vault). We never receive them.
- The browser extension only connects pages on this site to the Agent Pi app running on
localhoston your computer. It does not read your browsing history, does not track you, and sends nothing to remote servers.
What this website collects
- Email address (optional, opt-in only) — if you choose to sign up for product updates, we store your email, where you signed up, and the date. We use it only to send Agent Pi news and tips. Unsubscribe any time by replying to any email or using the contact page.
- Contact messages — if you use the contact form, we store the name, email, and message you submit so we can reply.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your personal data.
- We don't collect your conversations, code, files, or API keys.
- We don't run invasive tracking; if basic, aggregate site analytics are enabled they are described here.
